Jen Meets Leo

Jen walked back from the Atlantic Ocean boardwalk, feeling the breeze on her face and the sand in her shoes. She loved the Eau Gallie beach front park, a sight so stunning it stopped her to gaze. Scattered clouds, scattered magentas and orange water colored skies. Cotton candy pinks and lavender drapes of galaxies. She smiled as she remembered the poem she had written earlier, inspired by the beauty of nature.

She was heading to the downtown Eau Gallie Art Festival 2090, where she hoped to find some inspiration for her next poem. She had always dreamed of becoming a famous poet, and earning a ticket to the LifeSpan004 Space Travel Program. She wanted to see the stars up close, and write about them in her verses. She had heard that the program was looking for talented artists and writers to join their crew, and she was determined to be one of them.

She arrived at the festival, and was amazed by the variety of artworks on display. There were paintings, sculptures, photographs, and installations, all showcasing the creativity and vision of the artists. She wandered around, admiring the works and chatting with the artists. She felt a surge of joy and admiration for their passion and talent.

She stopped at a booth that caught her eye. It was a collection of holographic images, depicting scenes from different planets and galaxies. She put on a pair of glasses, and was instantly transported to a different world. She saw a purple sun, a green moon, a ring of asteroids, and a spiral of stars. She gasped in awe, feeling like she was really there.

She looked at the name of the artist, and saw that it was Leo. She remembered him from her college days. He was a brilliant physics student, who had a knack for creating stunning holograms. He was also handsome, charming, and funny. She had a crush on him, but never had the courage to tell him. She wondered what he was doing now, and if he still remembered her.

She decided to look for him, and see if he was at the festival. She walked around, scanning the crowd for his familiar face. She spotted him near a stage, where a live band was playing. He was wearing a leather jacket, a black t-shirt, and jeans. He looked older, but still handsome. He had a smile on his face, and a sparkle in his eyes.

She felt a surge of emotion, and walked towards him. She hoped he would recognize her, and talk to her. She wanted to tell him how she felt, and ask him about his holograms. She wanted to know if he shared her dream of going to space, and writing about it. She wanted to know if he was her soul mate.

She reached him, and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, and saw her. He looked surprised, and then happy. He said her name, and hugged her. She felt his warmth, and his heartbeat. She hugged him back, and smiled. She felt a connection, and a hope. She felt like this was the start of something new.

The Space Lab Survivors

Lev and Anya were thirteen and eleven, and they lived in a space station called Horizon. It was one of the many stations that orbited the Earth, and that belonged to the Galactic Federation. It was also one of the stations that had been attacked by the Black Sun, a rogue faction that wanted to overthrow the Federation and take control of the galaxy. The Black Sun had been responsible for the death of their parents, who were scientists working on a project to create a new source of energy using antimatter. They had also been responsible for the death of their uncle, who had betrayed them and worked for the Black Sun. They had never found out the truth about what had happened, and why their parents and uncle had died. It had remained a mystery to them, and a source of pain and anger. They had been taken care of by a designated staff team, who had been assigned to be their guardians after their parents’ death. They had been kind and friendly to them, and they had tried to make them feel a...
